Dear Dr. Wolf,
I am writing you to once again to thank you for getting rid of my AFib. Your operation relieved me of the AFib that was making my life miserable. And it also impacted my wife’s life too. In December 2003, I had 13 episodes of AFib that would last 4 to 6 hours until the Quinidine Sulfate restored the rhythm. After 4 to 6 tabs of Quinidine Sulfate, I did not feel too well for several hours. Besides making my life miserable, I missed. a lot of work and it caused a lot of our plans to be changed.
And in January of 2004, you performed your amazing surgery on me and changed my life for the better. I am now 92 years old. About a year ago I developed worsening Peripheral Neuropathy and it is difficult to walk. I am doing PT for that problem. Other than some stomach problems, I am doing ok. Due to the virus, we haven’t been to the gym since December 2019.
I saw Dr. Stephen Lewis yesterday and we had a long talk about how AFib is being treated. He told me you and he were friends and that he also had AFib which is being controlled with drugs. I included a copy of my EKG for your information.
I am sure when you go home at the end of the day you have a feeling of having made a valuable and worthwhile contribution to mankind. And well you should.
Again, I can never thank you enough for what you have done for me.
