I want to share the unique story of how the Wolf Mini-Maze was the genesis for an illusion named “Watermelon Surgery” in Penn and Teller’s Las Vegas magic show Fool Us!. This was season 7 episode 5, and it aired on July 20, 2020.
Part of my life has been dedicated to magic, which I practice as a semi-professional. For those who know, I have performed and taught magic at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA, and am an avid collector of old and antique magic books and illusions. I know and am friends with many magicians, and in this particular illusion Penn Jillete and I crossed paths three times, in Las Vegas, Cincinnati, and Houston.
