My AFib began causing me problems around November 2015. I had a cardioversion in 2009 and had sporadic problems after that. By November, I was having a great deal of difficulty in doing many things such as working out, going shopping and other every day activities without getting dizzy or unable to catch my breath. While not exactly a shut in, I just was not able or feel like doing many things.

Since I’ve had my procedure in April 2016, many things have changed. I now go to the gym more often, do my own shopping and go to the movies more. I feel better than I have for a very long time. My family says the have even noticed an improvement in my emotional state.
